What we cover
Taxes and deductions for the self-employed, freelance and gig income rules, personal finance decisions with a real deadline attached (severance, emergency funds, credit card math), and how AI and automation are actually changing pay and hiring, based on published data rather than speculation.
If a page has a calculator on it, that's deliberate: some of these questions are better answered with your own numbers than with a paragraph about averages.
How we work
Every statutory figure on this site, every tax bracket and deduction and deadline, is sourced to a primary government document, dated, and re-checked on a schedule. We say so in detail in our editorial policy, including how the site is produced and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who's behind it
PixelRevamp is edited by Karim Benyagoub, who writes here under the byline Karim B. He spent years editing personal-finance podcasts, more than 450 episodes across finance and other topics, and brings the same standard to this site: verify the number before you publish it, and say the answer plainly.
